Kids on the Block

The Kids on the Block are a troupe of 3 foot tall colourful character puppets who, through a captivating piece of puppet theatre, bring to life issues faced by young people living with a disability. The project allows children to learn about difference in a non-threatening way encouraging them to express themselves without fear or prejudice. The Kids on the Block are touring Primary Schools in Northern Ireland and over 10,000 children annually meet Mark Riley, Valerie Perkins and their friends and are entertained and educated while listening to their stories.
