Face Inclusion Matters strives to make its products and services, including its website, accessible for all users. This includes people with disabilities. The website complies with the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) up to level AA.
A number of accessibility features have been implemented to help you use our website. These elements aim to improve navigation for screen readers, keyboard navigation and text-only browsers.
Text size
Text size can be increased or decreased in size by selecting the View option in your browser, or by clicking on the font resize icons in the page header.
Cascading style sheets
The site uses cascading style sheets (CSS) to control page layout and styling.
Images
Images that convey important information have alternative text. Where an image is used for a decorative purpose the empty alt attribute (alt="") is used.
Pop-up windows
Our website does not rely on pop-up windows.
Forms
Forms are clearly labelled to help readers to understand the content on a page and to fill in content into correct fields.
Tables
The websites tables are clearly tagged. They do not use structural mark-up for visual purposes.
Sitemap
A site map is available to provide information about the layout of the website.
Navigation
Navigation links are consistent between pages throughout the site. The site is also fully accessible using only the keyboard.
Access keys
We have provided a series of keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse.
This web site uses the United Kingdom government access key system and the following information summarises each of the keyboard shortcut commands available to you. Due to the structure of this website please note that some UK government access keys have not been implemented.
Windows-based systems
Press the 'Alt' key and the relevant access key:
- if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4 then press 'Alt' and the relevant number/letter at the same time
- if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or later then press 'Alt' and the relevant number/letter, then press the 'Enter' key
- if you are using Netscape version 6 or later, or Mozilla, then press 'Alt' and the relevant number/letter at the same time

Press the 'Ctrl' key and the relevant access key
